CSC heat Timble Ings. Blue. Went straight to #1 -mistake. Fell down a hole on the way to #2 -must have looked funny as went under surface level. Missed 3 in the circle. Straight for the first part of 4, mistake, path was faster. Was catching up some company 5,6,7 all ok. Was very lucky to spike 8, didn't see the earth bank. Went straight to 9 in a triumph of hope over experience. Doh. Bit hesitant on 12, overshot 14 - no real AP and stood still for a minute to relocate. Bilberryesque.

Tinsley Hill anticlockwise. A little bit quicker than usual. The vegetation has suddenly gone all teenage; is much taller, smellier and looking at me with ill-disguised but well-deserved contempt as I lumbered past through clouds of pollen. For the first time in ages I didn't feel rubbish for the first 5 minutes.
