Really should have gone for a run but did too much chilling in Leeds.

Cross Country (Birmingham XC Northampton) 35:25 [3] 10.15 km (3:29 / km) +106m 3:19 / km

Much more like how to run a cross country race. Kept at pace for the first lap. Steady round the second and the early hilly bit of the third. Faster for the remainder of the third and the fourth. Another nice little battle with Willy. I was stronger though this time. He sped off at the beginning of the third but was always within fairly easy striking distance and passed him on the long drag. I didn't pick off as many towards the end as I would have liked and got passed on the downhill to the finish but did alright in a sprint finish. Kris passed us at some point but I wasn't looking out for him. Glad I raced it properly, would like to be faster at the end. 33rd.

Running (2x Wrekin) 40:00 [3]

Two ups and downs starting from the now usual westside car park. First one fairly diagonal, second one more perpendicular and off-paths. Good fun, thought 3 would be too many.

Mountain Biking (Wrekin) 1:20:00 [3]

More pushing than riding! But the riding was well cool. Some beautiful built and more natural trails. Probably better to be hitting jumps and drop-offs for the first time in the light rather than with a headtorch on. First messing around on a bumpy track close to the car, first time I've felt in the UK I might want a more capable bike. Then pushed up a track I found on the O map to the very top during which it started raining. Got a few flakes of snow up there! Coming down okay with a couple of falls. Sooo need to go again.

Running (Naff head-torch run) 40:00 [3]

Slow around to tesco. Then headed of down above Blists Hill Victorian Town to find some new footpaths. Failed at the far end and dropped down into the valley and just returned almost the same way. Might be a good hill reps location. Went late so it was freezing.

Running intervals (Telford AC) 22:00 [3]

5*3minutes followed by 7 minutes slow tempo. (Slow being my fault). Apart from maybe the first one all above 970m though got over-excited on the middle one and ran over a k.
