First time at Carnawaddy. Great area, though didn't care for heading down into the plain valley and climbing out again.
This was after I retired before getting 2.....
My right leg/ankle was just getting more and more painful. didn't seem a plausible reason why. Was sore going up to 1 and got worse. So started walking back and then it dawned on me that it may be the ankle tape which came from end of roll and ended up tight around lower leg. Sat down on rock and removed it and did a U-turn and got 2 and continued. By 3 it was better!

With less support around ankle, took it safe especially downhills. Shows on 7 and 17, also 14 via which the downhill caught me out in that I lost map contact, cause I couldn't read and watch ground at same time. Went via 10 but then went down wrong stream. Eventually figured it out and got to correct stream and was so sure I was too low that I climbed to get control, and then spotted no.1! So I wasn't too low.

Legs very tired, I think partly with lack of recent running. 90 mins was about as good as I could have gone.

Note

Had a cold lurking all week, been very busy as well, then there was the storm clean-up, so no run during the week. I'm well rested...
