Running 30:57 [2] 2.6 mi (11:54 / mi)
ahr:162 max:170 shoes: New Balance 460

I am mildly pleased with myself. I had a number of could be lame excuses not to go out this morning, but I did anyway. As an example, my throat bothered me last night and into this morning. I don't think it is a virus, as I don't seem to have any other symptoms. I am hesitant to say that it is directly related to the cooler weather, but perhaps the cooler weather causes some trees to send out spores or something. Does anyone know?

My ankle was relatively good. Pain is not the right word to describe it as I flex it. It is just some discomfort, that frankly subdued shortly after I rounded my halfway point.

I am not sure that I really ever crave a run before I head out on one. However, there are some times when once I am out there, I am really glad to be there. This morning was one of those times.

Orienteering (MTB) 1:56:41 [3] 8.0 km (14:35 / km)

Many thanks to Becky and Mike and the others for today's event. I was able to do the mountain bike O and it was great. Awesome course and spectacular weather. It was also great to see so many again that I missed over the summer. I am looking forward to more.

Hiking 45:00 [1] 2.0 km (22:30 / km)

The ankle seemed good on the hike as well. I am not sure I would consider it at 100%, but I think it is time to exercise it some more.
