Better race than my long. I made one mistake on control 4 and just about everything else went well.

Overall not my best race by any means. But I got first for two legs so that's good. My first few controls were slow as I tried to get into the flow of things. There was a lot of green areas with annoying twiggy branches, which resulted in my legs being cut up. Also there were quite a few long legs where i really had to pay attention. Towards the middle of my run somewhere there was a guy who fell and hit his head on a rock. He was bleeding pretty bad and he also lost his glasses and couldn't read his map to get back, so I tried to help him find his glasses, and made sure he was okay enough to get back on his own. Maybe it was a good thing I helped him because the next day he said he had to get stitches.

League meet at bear mountain. Came in fourth overall and the other three people in front of me were Suffern girls. Elina got passed by one girl who was in between us the whole race but she still got sixth! So a really good run for Suffern! I also got a personal best by quite a bit and broke 20 yay :)
