Relay training at Balkello Hill in Perthshire. Lots of climb, heather and in places knee deep snow made it tough going. Mist came down half way through making it ever more difficult. Was running it with Andrew all the way round, except when I failed on #9 and got disorientated before catching him up before 10. Great day out so much fun!

Unfortunately as I discovered here, not running for 4 days does in fact not leave you well rested, but feeling bad when you come back to it! I did 3 x 5mins/90s, 3min/60s, 2min. Pace overall wasn't too bad, but felt terrible!

Note

Frank Morton and a large volume of work this week has meant that I've been unable to do any training Monday to Wednesday; Thursday hopefully I'll be back on it hard!
