Orienteering race 20:06 [3] 3.85 km (5:13 / km)

Sprint at Claisebrook. A clean run other than #13, a really short let that I just disregarded thinking that I'd be able to see the control. I was looking ahead at the next couple of legs and went past the control without realising and spent about a minute searching around trying to figure out what I'd done before eventually going the right way. It didn't help that a crowd of 3-4 other people gathered in the area I was in looking for the same control, making me think I was in the right spot. My finish split said it was 3 seconds, 1:01 min/km, there may have been a slight problem with the timing but I'm always happy to take a faster finish split. Ended up with an overall time of 20:06, a minute behind Oliver, 2 minutes behind Sten. I would have been a minute and a half behind Riley and a minute ahead of Craig, but they both mispunched.

Reabold group. I was hitting well but my hip was getting sore around halfway through, so I couldn't really play properly from then on.
