IOC Classic - Lough Firrib, W18, 4.4km, 4th

Such a disaster! Clean for the first two but had a bad directional mistake in the fog to #3 and got caught by Aoife. We stuck together for the rest of the course, which really helped because we could barely see anything in that fog... We made two bad 15ish minute mistakes to #7 and #8, but really steady from #11 to the finish. Still couldn't really relate the map to the ground like yesterday, but it was tougher on 1:15000. I'd definitely like to re-run the course on a nicer day and see if I could make any sense of it.

IOC Middle - Camaderry, W18, 2.8km, 2nd

Completely overshot #1 because I didn't realise the map was 1:7500, #2 - #4 was okay, but overshot #5 by a good bit. Second half of the course was pretty bad, really messy and I couldn't seem to match the terrain to the map, felt like giving up a few times but glad I didn't in the end.
