Laundry day! The stairs are so rough w the boot, and I'm super looking forward to staying inside with clean laundry and lots of data to analyze for the next 2 weeks! Stayed inside the rest of the day!

Swimming again! Almost no arm pain except for a tiny tweak in my elbow during a flip turn woops. But other than that, good, and went shorter and slower today just in case!

4 x 50 (slower than recently)

10 x 100 on 2:20--was finishing between 2:00 and 2:10 and then a bit of rest. Didn't shorten the rest bc the timing was helping me not lose count :P Since a set of three made me start on the minute again. Started slow.

Hands/wrists are feeling better than on previous days! ALSO they reopened the shorter path to my pickup spot and it's still hard after swimming but now much less hard than before :)

A few sets of dog pees/donkey kicks/one round of leg raises after swimming. So much more pleasant to be out in the fresh air!

Second data collection day in a row, and the data collection + shins were all above expectations! I got there super early to set up because I was paranoid my helpers hadn't scanned since before covid started/weren't the most confident, and it turned out I got everything in I needed to get in, but also I was justified in being paranoid (as is usually the case when scanning)! At least 5 things went wrong, but there was enough time to deal with them all :) Then did *not* forget to copy my data today, and I even got un-warping started on the today's data, and then pre-processing started on yesterday's!

Approximate crutching time (includes ubering back to the scanner center bc I forgot to copy my data woops!!!)

After a successful scan, reconstructng/un-warping data! Yay multitasking :)

- Knee exercises (leg lifts) w boots
- 3-way dog pees w boots
- 5 reps single-leg hamstring curls w boots (hoping to build on these!)
- a handful of reps of front-plank-knees-on-foam-roller-w-leg-lifts

- hard abs, adding extra sets of twisty back raises and russian twists at the end. Am progressing w reps of v-ups and modified v-ups :)

Also--no shoulder/elbow/wrist pain today, so I might try swimming again tomorrow! (The pain's from crutching and not swimming, but I felt it a bit swimming the other day.)

In other news, I finally have an accessible shower after 2.5(?) weeks on crutches/double boots!

First did leg-lift knee exercises with boots.
Then some leg lifts in a front plank on a foam roller (above knees).
Then boots off and hard abs followed by twisty back raises
Then a lot of the 3-direction dog pees

To and from lab (to run new first participant's pre-fMRI practice session!). Then also the long way around to the bathroom because construction on the short route was still finishing. Hands hurting a lot!
