Orienteering at Lake Needwood. I think this was actually parts of 3 maps stitched together (Needwood, Lake Frank, and the golf course area). The course was fine running, but a little short on technical difficulty. Nevertheless, I ran right by control #6 on the ridge (actually missed it twice -- it wasn't at all where I expected it to be). Then I sprained my ankle crossing the deep ravine after #7 at the bottom of the map and hobbled back all the way to the top end. I really wanted to run on the golf course, but just couldn't do it.
Ice, elevation, and ibuprofen for the ankle. Probably no training for the rest of the week, and I hope it's is good enough to run the 10k on in 2 weeks.
