Rancho San Antonio. A beautiful, cool evening and a nice run. This is the fastest I've run it in awhile. And I felt good the whole time.

Orienteering 40:31 [3] *** 5.7 km (7:06 / km)
spiked:7/8c shoes: blue Mizuno WN 2

Frame-O on Stanford campus. I found this race really fun. They whited out a big rectangle in the middle of the map and then the controls were all around the edges of it. So you could run on the map but it was faster (and more fun) to run through the white. Of course, all of us who know stanford well have a big advantage. But you also kept criss-crossing everyone else so it was a lot of fun. Also a beautiful day. I actually messed up one control and lost about a minute on it.
I got Sergei (a postdoc I work with) and his little, non-english-speaking son to try it. His son found it hilarious that I could say a few things to him in russian but then had no idea what he was saying to me :)
