Sunday ride with Jouni, Kepa and Petri. Route Yläjärvi-Sasi-Siuro-Nokia. Tired from yesterday but the feeling got better during the ride. Maybe still a bit too fast for a recovery ride?

Finnish Duathlon Championships - Run 1. Undulating course took its toll and wore me out after the first loop. Had to slow down a bit on the second loop in order to survive rest of the race. I was 3rd +23sec behind after the run. I was slowest in the transition and lost one place there.

Finnish Duathlon Championships - Bike. The course was a lot hillier than I had anticipated and I had difficulties in the steep climbs with the TT bike. Lost one place in the cycling and was almost 2min slower than the fastest woman. Avg power 206w (clearly less than on Monday's tempo ride).

Finnish Duathlon Championships - Run 2. Lost time in the transition again and was quite far behind the 4th place when out for the last run. Running felt as bad as you can imagine after the ride and it took a while to shake off the lactate. As it was far ahead and far behind to the next competitor I kind of settled in to run comfortable pace. 5th in the finish, about a minute from the bronze. Triathlonteam 226’s tempo ride in Säijä. My god it was tough and quads were filled up with lactate early on! Surprised how well I managed to keep the pace/power despite the burning feeling in the legs and how I could hold the aero position all the way. Avg power 230w.
