Calf was painful each time I woke up overnight.

It felt better in the AM though but barely able to walk.

Most of the day I was favoring it. Occasionally I would use it in a way that made me wince. As long as I roll through it the right way when getting up it usually was fine.

I gave it some heat at the end of the day followed by ice. It seemed to help.
It seems as thought I strained or pulled the muscles versus an impact injury.

Squeezing in a quick ride in Pandapas. Rode Homonym. Times not too slow.

My bike slid out from under me while making the turn-off PC onto Snakeroot toward May Apple. I kept myself from hitting the ground but it was really awkward and I felt like I banged my L Calf on some part of the bike. It was really tight and sore the rest of the ride home.

Took some pain meds as the pain seemed like more than it should be. No sign of bruising.

I was hesitant to try and stretch it out or use heat.

I opted for some ice instead.

Road out towards Catawba on my way to the pool.

Hadn't been out that way for a while. It was nice. From the scenery to the rollers on the way out and the dragstrip on the way back.

Tried to shorten the forest section but there are more trails and ended up doing almost the same distance.

A little rain while I ran. Fields were wet.

Ran into some cows in the field. They were blocking one of the passageways so I had to go around.
