Homeplace Hills
Slow. Very humid and buggy. Not much rest since yesterday but felt ok and was mentally ready to do this workout today.

GPS Issues. Couldn't maintain a consistent line and completely lost track in the PC gorge. Corrected distance.

Trail Running 2:44:28 intensity: (47:57 @1) + (1:11:18 @2) + (45:13 @3) 15.24 mi (10:48 / mi) +2196ft 9:30 / mi
ahr:129 max:155 shoes: Salomon Trailster

Ran out gap to meet TB and Basil. Then ran with them for about an hour for some stress and emotion release. Then finished with another hour on my own.

My legs were more tired and slow than I would have expected considering the first half of the run was nice and easy.

Had planned an easy run w/Skip but this was just about as good. Z really enjoyed getting out. Didn't seem to be sore at all afterward.

ahr:124 max:155 shoes: Giro Rumble

Ride in after dropping the car off. Light pack.

Went for a slightly longer ride than originally planned. Legs were tired but I gave my self some opportunities to just spin them out. Pace was slower but not significantly.
4 PM

Commuting 53:10 intensity: (14:38 @1) + (31:35 @2) + (6:57 @3) 14.68 mi (16.6 mph) +1138ft
ahr:126 max:150 shoes: Giro Rumble

Ride back to car. Light pack. Light rain

Rain was actually nice. Better than heat. Took it easy down Harding but it didn't affect the Ellet climb. Fortunately, traffic was also light.

Speed was decent. Legs felt lighter and stronger than this morning.

Run to Whitethorne with my raft and water, 22#.
10 AM

TA 13:40 [0]

Inflating and tempering boat.
Was hoping this would be a bit shorter but it really is just sacrificing tempering. I could maybe temper the boat by leaving it in the water making it a bit faster though. I didn't have to top off the boat at all during the paddle though. I did have to top off the seat (which wasn't a big deal). It may have also been due to not being closed tight enough as well. Need to temper the seat if I want to avoid this (I didn't temper it before leaving).

Boat ramp was crowded for a busy day.
11 AM

Paddling 2:01:40 [2] 7.76 mi (3.8 mph) +290ft
ahr:106 max:121 shoes: Alpacka Gnu

New @ 2.5'
Whitethorne to McCoy

Packraft was a little faster than I was expecting which left me some time to do a few laps down the falls at the end.
Was able to move at just under 4mph.
Nice conditions. Partly cloudy with a slight breeze almost entirely at my back.

The river wasn't very crowded. Saw a ton of tubers getting in at the junction but didn't really have anyone near me the whole trip.

The water level was not much higher than the shoals at McCoy Rd. Not sure I could have paddled it much lower. Don't think I would have made it through in the kayak.
12 PM

TA 5:55 [0]

Packing up the raft.
1 PM

Road Running 47:36 intensity: (20 @1) + (23:11 @2) + (24:05 @3) 4.97 mi (9:35 / mi) +614ft 8:35 / mi
ahr:139 max:153 shoes: Salomon SuperCross Blue

Run back to the house 20# pack

Felt strong. "Ran" up the driveway.
