Ice Skating 45:00 intensity: (30:00 @0) + (15:00 @1)

Took the girls to Mercer County Rink with my parents. Nut was doing pretty well and moving a little on her own. E needed help balancing but was strong enough to do laps around the rink pulling me.

My legs were tired from constantly squatting and bending to hold onto them.

They wouldn't have minded staying longer.

Perrineville Lake w/KT
Easy run after yesterday's strong effort. Ran from the house. Took a different approach through the Vie fields/forest and found a decent route. Tried coming back the same way as last time but was a little off. Not as clear.

Perrineville Lake with the Roosevelt Loop

Did the Roosevelt loop at a good pace and felt good enough to do more. I was hesitant to do too much but I felt too good and wanted to do it all. Didn't feel like I was pushing too hard too much.

Pandapas w/Zitch/Skip
55F Getting faster so I decided to add a little more mileage. Might be the weather. Started out riding the dogs a bit. Starting to master the middle ring if only it would stop ghost shifting to granny ring. Looking forward to the single ring. Actually wanted the granny for Skullcap but it wouldn't shift. Did surprisingly well considering but had to tap my foot a couple times.

Swapped my handlebars for ones that weren't bent but much shorter. Also seemed to enable better use of the lockout key.

Stopped by the hardware store hoping to find something I need to install the girl's Christmas gift.

New @ Whitethorne 2.8'
Warm weather felt cold. 50F+ but cloudy. I needed the arm warmers I had on. Gloves might not have been a bad idea but hands warmed up. Water was silky smooth and a bit high but I moved well.

Think I was doing a good job at vertical (but shorter) strokes without going too crazy.

Had a strained muscle in my back last night that I was able to relax but still a bit tight today. I started easily and cautiously but I think the paddling motion actually helped relax it more as I didn't feel it at all after maybe 20 mins.
