Run on King's Trail. Slow. R Achilles still sore and tight. Mostly loosened up by the end of the run.
Very hot in the sun and on the lava rock. Wish I hadn't forgotten a running hat.
Jumped in the pool when I got back to the resort.

Easy run at Perrineville Lake. First 5 miles with KT. Ran home by myself cutting through Vie's old property (now the county park). Was able to cut through the woods without much trouble. Had to move north to avoid bushwhacking on the edge of the field.

Ride in after dropping off the car. Light pack. Had a nice TW leaving town.

Noticed a flat on the Mt Calvary climb. Replaced the tube in the protection (wind) of the church but the CO2 adapter didn't work. Went across the street to use someone's compressor. As I got to the bottom of the descent my tire was flat again. Tried using someone else's compressor to fill it again but had another hole. Walked half a mile up the road to the gas station to pull the small glass shard out of my tire, patch the flat, and use the compressor. Patched it with hose tape which worked for the rest of the ride but still had a small leak.

Easy slow run around the plantation. The fields were a bit wetter than I was expecting.

Saw a duck stuck in a fishing line/hook in the pond. I tried to go up to it but it freaked out so instead I ran over to the Vet School and told them hoping someone could come out and help.
