Clearing the Winter Wildcat Course. Cleared all but 4 controls. 2 of which I practically passed and the other 2 were a short trip out of the way 1 of which actually would have made a more pleasant route. I also parked a bit closer to the course than the actual start.
My legs were shot at the end of this. This was probably a longer workout than I was ready for but I didn't want to leave only a few controls for Mark to have to go back and get. I did have a cutoff to get home and just barely made it. Used stick trekking poles for the big climbs. Was going really slow of the last.
Started with an empty pack and weighed 10# at the end.
Struggled a little on 32 and followed that up with a poor route choice to 43
Varios are almost completely shot. May have a few runs left in them.

First run in over a month. I felt the lack of endurance and weakness. Pace wasn't too shabby given my condition although I was well rested. I was working hard too. Run was a bit longer than I had planned and probably would have preferred but I don't think I overdid it.
PC trail was a complete mess. Everything else was fine.
