Had planned to take the girls and their cousins to do the beginner orienteering loop at Pandapas. KT took the keys when she left though so we just took a walk from the house. Carried E off an on.

Pandapas Orienteering w/Zitch/Skip Cleared the controls on the intermediate course. Failed to meet BSwede's challenge of 60 min. Had one small error on 15 coming down Snapper. Didn't look at the map until I was already next to it and misread the map. Should have probably just come down the old roadbed instead of the trail. Was concerned I overshot 11. Felt I was right but couldn't be confident until I found the CP. My route was actually perfect though.
Also probably could have taken a direct route between 4 and 5 instead of coming to the pond.
Ankle felt pretty good but a little tight. Didn't feel like I strained it at any time though. The ground was nice and soft.

Pandapas w/Zitch/Skip Added a big climb and did some more hilly terrain but was on the doubletrack and forest road along the ridge.
Ankle seemed to do pretty well at times. Got a tendonitis feeling in my LKnee again on the two descents. Not bad enough that I had to stop just enough to bother me and affect my stride a bit.

Pandapas w/Zitch/Skip 45F. Felt chilly because of some wind but warmed up.
My ankle was a bit tender at the start but loosened up. Correspondingly started on easy trails and progressively increased difficulty. Effectively did my long summer loop backward. My ankle seemed to do OK on the technical gap trails. I was being cautious.
