Woolwine ride with Zitch. Trails were slow and muddy. Probably because of the warm temps (50F). Was hoping to map all the trails cleanly but not enough time and too slow. I did explore a new access road from the North.

Had to skip the Rocky Knob Loop today. Instead ran at Smartview with Zitch. Beautiful day. Woods were quiet and still. Air was cool, crisp, and clean. Sun was out and there was still some snow on the ground. Temps were in the 30's but the wind had finally died down. Tights and shortsleeves meant it was cool at the start but got my blood going soon.

The second half of the workout we went and explored the area northeast of the overlook. I tried looking for a mapped doubletrack here last spring without any luck. This time I found what I was looking for and it was in bad shape. Lots of fallen trees. It was much easier to explore on foot though. Not sure it was even worth following the whole way down but glad I found it.
