Full loop with another clean Warm Hearth Loop. Farm roads were dryer than I was expecting. Trails were clearer than I was expecting, only had to hop two trees.

Despite the day off yesterday my legs were still a bit tired and stiff mostly at the beginning. Had a decent pace comparatively though.

Ended at the gym.

Lots of water in the creeks and on the trails. Tried my best to stay off bad spots but mostly stuck to the same route as the last 3 weeks.

When we parked I saw a dirt biker pull onto the ST. I ran ahead and stood in front of him to ask him what he was doing. He seemed to legitimately think what he was doing was a good idea and not wrong. He proceeded to tear up one of the worst parts of the trail. Not to mention the fact that he was flying down the trail ready to hit someone. Looked like he stopped about 1/2 mile down the trail.

HRM looks all wonky.

Chillier than I was expecting. Lots of water on the north part of Poverty Creek "Road." Maybe the most I've ever seen. And it was cold. Trails were wet. Nice to spend some time on the Service Rd instead.

Started slow with a heavy stomach from lunch. Settled by the time I got to the road.

Clearing the Winter Wildcat Course.
Cleared all but 4 controls. 2 of which I practically passed and the other 2 were a short trip out of the way 1 of which actually would have made a more pleasant route. I also parked a bit closer to the course than the actual start.

My legs were shot at the end of this. This was probably a longer workout than I was ready for but I didn't want to leave only a few controls for Mark to have to go back and get. I did have a cutoff to get home and just barely made it. Used stick trekking poles for the big climbs. Was going really slow of the last.

Started with an empty pack and weighed 10# at the end.

Struggled a little on 32 and followed that up with a poor route choice to 43

Varios are almost completely shot. May have a few runs left in them.

First run in over a month. I felt the lack of endurance and weakness. Pace wasn't too shabby given my condition although I was well rested. I was working hard too. Run was a bit longer than I had planned and probably would have preferred but I don't think I overdid it.

PC trail was a complete mess. Everything else was fine.

Family walk on the far end of the Mill Creek trails. First time here since EFix 2007. Had to work hard to remember the bike ride we made to the trailhead.

Wasn't quite sure of the location because I forgot my trail map at home but ended up at the right spot. We walked out the AT a little and had lunch. Then we went out the local trail a little to check out the creek.
