National XC, 55th u20 (with 2 more years as an u20) which I'm happy with, really fun and a good course with a few hills and some lovely boggy bits, the sun even came out!

British night champs, 1st
Not a good run, really need more practice at night orienteering, very indecisive about how far I needed to go to 2 (1 min), bit high of 3 but thought I was below so ran further up (1 min), overshot 7 (15s), really overshot 10, I hate pits (1:30) and a bit messy to 4, 13, 14 but the other 9 controls went well! I think most of my problems were caused by not having accurate compass, I had good plans but at night on an area like this accurate compass is crucial. Also not running particularly fast, legs unsurprisingly tired from xc in the morning.

Running warm up/down 10:59 [2] 1.78 km (6:10 / km) +13m 5:57 / km

warm down, not in the mood for warming down so was planning on just jogging back to my car but ended up going for a longer warm down with Nick Barrable so thanks Nick!
