Running warm up/down 9:00 [1] 1.4 km (6:26 / km)
ahr:147 max:162 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 3 Blue

Didn't want to do too much before as I wasn't sure how ankles would hold up. Jogging and drills

Orienteering 53:47 [4] 7.88 km (6:50 / km) +135m 6:17 / km
ahr:169 max:190 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 3 Blue

CSC Final Tankersley, Blue Women.
Wasn't sure how this was going to go, trying to keep calm, clear head and just be steady.
Started out a bit wobbly, slightly off on 1 and then got confused with what path I was on at 4 and overshot. Tentative to 6, paths were a bit funny. Lost a bit of time on 15, contours vaguer than expected and drifted too far R, but quickly fixed. Then wasn't sure if you could cross the fence to 17 (you could) so went round it. Slow to 23, should have gone round the path but cut the corner and was a bit high. Then getting tired, 27, 28, 29 all a bit messy and tentative. Probably lost around 3 mins total from mistakes the rest is all fitness.
All in all it went pretty well and a lot better than expected. Definitely still ill, breathing was tough and HR is quite high for me but had virtually no ankle pain when running! They were both v heavily strapped but it has given me a massive confidence boost before SHI. Not where I want to be physically but could be a lot worse.

Running warm up/down 13:05 [1] 1.85 km (7:04 / km)
ahr:145 max:168 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 3 Blue

Chatty with Laura and Klara.

Note
(injured) (sick) (rest day)

Cough seemed a lot worse today and ankle a bit niggly this eve after quite a bit of walking, but not much I can do about anything now. Just got to see how it feels tomorrow and see what I can (or can't) do.

Running 16:00 [2] 3.1 km (5:10 / km)
shoes: Asics GT2000

Another little run. Ankle felt better today, didn't have any niggles while running. Lungs still felt awful, running for longer is going to be a struggle, but I do still have quite a bad cough.
Guess it is positive that pain was basically non existent.

Aqua Jogging 45:00 [2]

With Beth.
Did a lil WU/WD
Then 3x2 (lengths) on 1 off, 2x 4 on 1 off, 3x 2 on 1 off.
R quad started hurting a bit so had a stretch in the middle. Ankle a bit niggly by the end.

Swimming 25:00 [2] 1.0 km (25:00 / km)

Just using arms again. First few lengths without a float as there wasn't one. Got much easier with one!

Running 15:00 [2] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT2000

I have missed running so much. Few niggles but nothing major going on and I am hyper sensitive to it anyway. Was a bit of a shock to the system after a month of illness and no running.

Stretching/Physio 15:00 [0]

Got to prioritise this even when I haven't trained.

Swimming 50:00 [2] 1.6 km (31:15 / km)

Started off swimming normally but ankle was sore still so swapped to arms only, with a float, after 500m.
What I learned: I really don't use my legs enough, wasn't that much slower...
