Running warm up/down 11:33 [1] 1.8 km (6:25 / km) +80m 5:15 / km
ahr:130 max:166 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

From the car to assembly and up to the start. Quite brisk as I was cutting it fine! Still ill so having struggles.

Orienteering 1:38:44 [3] 12.1 km (8:10 / km) +250m 7:24 / km
ahr:147 max:167 (sick) shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

SOL2 Culteuchar and Dron, Brown.
Overall I enjoyed it, so much more runnable than expected! Was a little frustrating as I just couldn't find top gear today because of being ill. Quite fancy coming back to run it again when I am not ill. Not planning ahead particularly well. Bit faffy coming out of 5 and 13. Definitely picked the wrong route on 9. Went left, up over and round, but got stuck in the gorse and then very confused when I found some trees that weren't mapped and was worried I'd somehow ended up in the OOB, figured it out eventually but defs lost at least 60s. Bit faffy on 10 ended up ploughing through a gorse bush mid leg and then had to go all the way round to actually get into the control. Very confusing that the gorse and trees were mapped the same and sometimes gorse was a green screen, but not sure how it could have been clearer... Also not sure about my route to 16. Started running out of energy a bit around the hour (14) but plodded on and made it to the end.

Running warm up/down 6:33 [1] 1.1 km (5:57 / km)
ahr:128 max:137 shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

Back from the finish with the Andrews, nice and slooowww.

Event: bto SOUL 4

Running warm up/down 7:00 [1] 1.14 km (6:08 / km)
ahr:128 max:159 shoes: Asics GT1000

To the start and a couple of drills. Cba with a WD, wasn't really going quick enough to need one anyway...

Orienteering 1:03:03 [3] 10.79 km (5:51 / km) +60m 5:41 / km
ahr:144 max:164 (sick) shoes: Asics GT1000

SOUL4 Deans, Women's Open.
Still feeling crap so just jogged my way round. Think I took the wrong route on 7, and defs was wrong on 9, didn't see that you had to go round the end of the fence to get to it. And 23, I took a longer route, though you didn't have to go back on yourself. Wasn't a particularly great area really but the weather was beaut and saw lots of kittehs.

Wah! Could feel it coming on yesterday and hoped it wouldn't turn in to anything but now feel like utter crap. Damn. I blame Hive.

Running (Treadmill) 40:00 [2] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: New Balance 860v6

Easy run testing out new shoes. Feet really not getting on with the new Asics so trying a different pair... Not sure what I think of them. They made my feet go a bit numb/pins and needles but no pain. Need to wear them some more. Legs a bit tired.

Cross Trainer (AMT) 20:00 [1] 3.15 km (6:21 / km)
shoes: New Balance 860v6

Topping up to an hour on the AMT. V tired legs so didn't do any more than the hour.

Running warm up/down 18:34 [2] 3.5 km (5:18 / km) +30m 5:05 / km
ahr:144 max:160 shoes: Asics GT1000

From the gym and then a lap of the Meadows.

Drills 6:00 [1] 0.65 km (9:14 / km)
ahr:134 max:157 shoes: Asics GT1000

Drills and Strides

Running intervals 17:02 [5] 4.0 km (4:16 / km) +20m 4:09 / km
ahr:159 max:173 shoes: Asics GT1000

4x1km 90s rest (I actually had ~80s each time so I could start with Fay and we accidentally had 50s after the second one!).
All in all, not great, started out faar too fast. Didn't feel like I was getting slower but I was, I got a lot slower. Think that's the worst I've been with consistency ever! But anyway week 1 of intervals under my belt, more to come...
4.05, 4.13, 4.21, 4.23

Running warm up/down 17:48 [2] 3.1 km (5:45 / km) +10m 5:39 / km
ahr:136 max:149 shoes: Asics GT1000

Shuffle back round the Meadows with KT, Conor and Kirstin (for a little bit) and to the gym. Intervals made worthwhile when we met Callie the Dachshund, though disappointingly she loved Tim the most.
