Purple Thistle - Battan.
Knee still sore from Abriachan but ankle was fine. Struggled a little in the terrain at times where it was tussocky and especially tussocky and uphill! Slow on 5, terrain was a bit vague and so I knew I was in roughly the right place but wasn't sure where to go from where I was, eventually spotted it basically where I'd been heading before I got pulled off by a mossy lump which I thought might be the boulder! No real problems anywhere else.

Purple Thistle - Abriachan
Orienteering wise I didn't have any major problems. Bit of a banana into 2 because I crossed the path in a different place from where I thought I did but that was it. Physically still struggling on hills and in the rougher stuff. Jarred my knee a couple of times re-irritating it and also went over on my ankle twice. Not good, but I have only myself to blame because I haven't been keeping up with physio exercises...

Note

Chest not really bothering me any more, still taking the anti-inflammatorys but will start running/exercising again. It is a bit frustrating to not properly understand what caused it but hopefully it won't bother me again.

Note

Saw the doctor, nothing obviously wrong. She thought it could be Costochondritis which is inflammation of the joints between cartilage and ribs, or Pleurisy which is inflammation of the lung lining. Either way nothing too serious, been prescribed an anti-inflammatory and it should clear up on it's own. Also advised to rest for a bit before trying running etc.
