Orienteering race 37:43 [4] 5.33 km (7:05 / km) +117m 6:23 / km
ahr:175 max:188

British Relay, Women's Premier, 3rd Leg.
Still not feeling 100%. Plan was to just keep chugging my way round which, on the whole, went well. Got sent out in 3rd which I wasn't expecting and I had no idea how far behind me the other teams were. Alison and Fiona overtook me just before spectator, they seemed to have a slightly shorter gaffle that me at that point so I never actually got a chance to try to run with them, not that I'd have lasted very long! Navigation was ok, but a bit sloppy in the circle think this was just my brain not functioning as well as normal because I've been ill?!

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2] 4.0 km (7:30 / km)

Trek to the start...

Orienteering race 1:54:20 [2] 8.55 km (13:22 / km) +230m 11:47 / km
ahr:140 max:171

British Champs, W20E
Was planning to try and give this race a go but I then managed to mess up the first control... After wandering around for a bit i ended up finding the control a few meters from where I had been in the first place, I just hadn't seen the kite and then assumed I was in the wrong place, which made it difficult to relocate! Very frustrating, and I did notice that quite a few of the controls were pretty hidden. Anyway after messing up I knew I had no chance of doing well anymore (seeing as I couldn't breathe when I ran!) and I wanted to be ok for the relay so just walked round the rest. Got a bit sloppy in decision making after the long leg because I was getting tired and running out of energy. Poor route to 8 and wandered a bit at 9. Seriously flagging by the end!

(sick)

Still feeling rubbish but I am now a UKCC level 1 coach. Easy day tomorrow when I can fully rest and hopefully get a bit better before the weekend. On the plus side ankle is feeling a bit better after 3 days of only a bit of walking.
