Whiz round the warm up map before starting.

British Middle: Women's Open
Hadn't really planned very well for this race and wasn't in the right mindset. For instance could have worked out where my first control was while in the box, only 1 wet pit nearby, but it didn't even occur to me. So in the first section where it was tricky I was very hesitant and stop-start. Got all the controls fine but didn't feel in control of what I was doing. Once in the open I got into it a bit more and was flowing better. After 11 it was much easier technically and from the splits i can see I lost time in the last section because I couldn't run as fast as the others.
Overall I actually really enjoyed this race, which I didn't expect to and I'm happy to have been a bit closer in time to everyone.

British Sprint: Heat 2.3
Didn't find it too hard technically but quite tough physically. Lost a teeny bit of time with a dodgy route to 5 and slightly overshot 19 but apart from that it went well.

shoes: Blue asics

British Sprint: Final B2
Enjoyed it a bit more than the morning, because it was more technical. Bit frustrating though because I just could not run fast, was so tired! And I lost time being hesitant because I was tired and wasn't reading the map as well.

Saw a Tracy (physio) about my back. Said it was really tight in general and probably wasn't cos I fell, though it wont have helped. Massaged it and told me to come back next week.

Again similar to what i have been doing, did a sort of abs circuit at the end. I'm going to hurt tomorrow!

To Astley Ainslie and some drills before. Then back afterwards.

Orienteering 27:05 [3] 3.92 km (6:55 / km) +14m 6:47 / km
shoes: Blue asics

Clock relay in Astley Ainslie. Wasn't too difficult and was good to get out again before the weekend. Back was a bit sore, wondering if I did something when I fell last week. Will see if I can get a physio appointment before the weekend.

Similar session to last week but more core and ankle stuff cos I was feeling pretty tired. Finger was also quite sore when i had to grip anything. Might have another rest day tomorrow
