Mix of freestyle and breaststroke: typically 4x20m of each, but stamina on freestyle isn't there yet.

  • Left ankle aware just above the heel-bone on the outside.
  • No obvious pain or soreness in either Achilles.
  • No apparent under-heel pain.
  • Very slight awareness of under-arch on the right.

    More stretching immediately afterwards, before the drive home.

    Missed 9. Tiredness leading to a lack of concentration. I know this was green, and I was up against M70s and the like, and everything else. But I might have won it by about 5 minutes if I hadn't messed up. Very frustrating. Will look at the splits.

    Great to get out. The distance is about right for me at the moment: enough to tire me, but hopefully not too much to set me back. Look at that HR profile though. Ouch.
