still resting my heel, which was feeling a fair bit better today. mostly on the road, but some grass and singletrack. not surprisingly, my MTB road tires are less than awesome on the snow and especially ice. by the end my fingers had warmed up but toes were numb.

hoping rest will speed my heel recovery. the bike doesn't bother it at all, and I tried to avoid extra walking around today. arms a little sore from yesterday, heel maybe a little better.

the bottom of my left heel has been sore since yesterday, it hurts when I stand or walk around. I'm hoping it's some kind of bruise (from what?), At the moment it seems too dull and centralized to be an achilles or plantar issue. it was mostly ok when running but I took it easy anyway.
