Event: ROC A-Meet

Running (warmup/cooldown) 20:00 [3] 2.5 mi (8:00 / mi)

Orienteering race (race) 1:38:09 [4] *** 17.1 km (5:44 / km)

rochester a-meet blue1. dumb parallel error at #1 cost me big-time, though luckily the course was long and I had plenty of time to make that up by spiking all the rest. stupid stupid stupid. won the day by a few seconds over nick duca. ahr:176

Note

now following matthias' example of recording length+10*climb for forest training. seems like a more accurate estimate of the effort [or additional distance around] involved. though I read somewhere that for men the climb:distance equivalent is more like 1:8, and 1:10 for women. and this way I don't get shafted on the mileage if I happen to do a lot of orienteering some week.
