Rolled ankle 6/20 at SC CUP race and never let it get back to 100% - Volume was way up and it was the first to give. Slight pain on the bike and zero running
7/18 - started w/ RICE & heat (Epson salt/Jacuzzi) -felt better after heat. - pain in top of foot right at Tibialis anterior tendon
7/19
Started taking
Omega 3s (600mg EPA, 400mg DHA) for 50 day supply
Joint Vibrance (Glucosamine, MSM, Callogen, etc) 21 day supply
-Also got some "icy hot" type rub lotions for the outside
7/20-21
Ankle pain is pretty much gone. I felt like I bruised my toes from hitting a rock or something but maybe something else. Center toes keep cracking and hurts to walk with any pressure. No pain if I push on the area - I realize this is the same "spot" that goes numb when I paddle (but legs have not been going numb) and the contact point when I am pushing when in the ski.
-Picked up some Astafactor and Tissue Rejuvenator last night from Xian.
7/23 - Bruise on 2nd - 3rd toe joints helped me stay off of my feet and ankle is A OK now. I noticed it was also hurting in the joint when I was stretching my quad (pulling my leg behind me and stretching my ankle) but there is no pain now and flexibility is back to 100%
Rest - Staying off feet, reducing volume and as a caution started taking the following
Astafactor and Tissue Rejuvenator, Fish Oil pills
I could have a chronic issues w/ my anlkes and I got some exercise to help stabilize and build back up some muscle/nerve feelings in my ankles to work on.
