R Hip/Pelvis, Other

2009-03-03 – ?

Grade: 3

Severe tightening of lower back muscles - unable to bend over to put on shoes etc. Once the acute pain subsided - physical therapist thought primary problem was hyper-mobility and rotation of the right pelvic bone. As the pelvic bone rotates backwards, it puts pressure on the SI joint leading to pain in the lower right back and right hip. Solution - rotation correction exercises followed by core strength exercises to try and keep hip aligned
