R Knee, Other

2008-12-30 – 2008-12-30

Grade: 2

I went to PT w/ my mom today and got someone to look at my knee. this is the same injury as in October. It really never stopped. Just seemed to get better and then worse when i ran.
hurts when i: run for a long time, bend it past 90 degrees (like kicking my butt or do high knee running things), walk downstairs, do crunches, sit for a long time.
Its doing mostly better but sometimes still painful. The PT unofficially diagnosed it as a "tweaked PCL". She checked for usual injuries and then made me wheel around on a stool which made it hurt. she had done the same thing falling on it. Weird thing is, i cant really figure out how i did it. I know it was while running about orienteering but i dont remember falling or hitting it on anything and i dont remember hyperextending it weirdly.

I am supposed to do 3 sets of 10 weighted squats 3-4 times a week at the gym and abductions (?). I am also supposed to avoid weighted hamstring curls. i can run and do whatever though since its a "tweak" and not a tear... YAY!!! I'm glad to know i havent been killing my knee for the past 2.5 months.
