R Foot, Stress Fracture

Pain in the meta-tarsal region of the right foot, on the top side of the foot arch and under the 3rd/4th metatarsal area. Caused by high-speed forefoot running at Parkrun. Pain not obvious immediately afterwards but starts developing over the next 24 hours. Painful to walk the next day. Went for MRI scan after about a week, with stress injury of 2nd metatarsal confirmed.
Lasted a long time and slow recovery. Started running again at the end of April. Injury is probably related as well to right anterior tibialis shin pain (scar tissue?) from late 2021 AR season, same cause as the plantar fasciitis of 2022.
