Lower Leg, Stress Fracture

Doing too much with only 10-15 mpwk base. Did 2x 5k race on the Saturday. drove all day sunday, 22 miles over the moors on Monday, 12 miles up and down cross fell on Tuesday, 14 miles up and down great dun fell on Wednesday, with a steep 4mile tarmac descent in trail shoes :-( I was just asking for it !
Red shin with severe stabbing pains when unweighting the foot. Bruising after 36 hrs, Stabbing pains lasted 1 week. During 1st week did some furniture moving - stupid!
After a week rest did some static bike which was fine. After 10 days I did a 4hour gravel ride which was not good as stabbing pains returned.
Went onto crutches for a day and resumed almost complete rest + 3-4 ices per day.
After 2 weeks from injury still cant walk properly and leg still a bit swollen. Continuing to ice.
