Could be wrong about the exact date as I'm writing this a month later. Had a pulsating pain in the back left side of my head for several days. When it hit, it would be debilitating for several seconds. It would be 10 - 30 seconds before it hit again. Occasionally the pain moved into my left ear. I know I've had this before, more in the ear than in the back of the head. Is it some sort of sinus infection?
Ibuprofen muted the pulsating for a couple of hours, though it seemed to take an hour for it to take affect. It finally went away on its own after about 5 days.
