Pain just behind and above the inner malleolus of the left foot. Inflamed toe flexors or a stress fracture?
Luckily just irritation in the tendon. After realising the injury (took about 1 week) I didn't run for 2-3 weeks, then tested a little and it felt ok but when I ran 6km fast the pain came back. After that I took 4 weeks off from running, then gradual rehab and build-up starting with short morning jogs on beach.
