L Lower Leg, Achilles Tendonitis

2015-05-17 – 2015-12-01

Grade: 3

Pain in the heel, better after warms up. Probably PF.

3/7 - been to physiotherapy (IMACS), turns out this is not PF but some swelling in the base of the Achilles Tendon where it attaches to the bone. Start eccentric calf stretches.

19/7 - Seems to finally get better, still hurts when I get up in the morning but not so bad as to cause limping.

20/8 - Getting better, but still not over. Tried to run 5 minutes today - was quite painful.

7/10 - no morning pains any longer. During today's run, a dull pain started after a few minutes, but then went away as the leg warmed up. Getting there.

I thing it's over. Physiotherapy has done it, and mainly helped by identifying the problem.
