L Foot, Other

2013-05-24 – 2013-06-13

Grade: 2

Strange discomfort isolated to just behind lateral ankle bone, accompanied by tenderness of the plantar aspect of foot just forward of heel. No swelling, discolouration of obvious deformity of L foot. No MOI, increasing discomfort upon palpation of plantar aspect of foot and movement of foor through ROM. Normal ROM, normal CSM. Going to take it easy for the next couple days, will see physio is discomfort increases or does not subside over the next couple of days.

Update: May 28th. Tried Thai Kick Boxing for the first time. Using my foot to kick the pads was uncomfortable, but otherwise the foot felt good. I think the barefoot movement and the stretching helped to loosen it up, so we'll have to see how it feels in the morning.

Finally ran without pain. Will still have ongoing problems with my old foot injury, but that is to be expected. Need to take better care of stretching my feet an warming up my ankles to prevent this injury from reoccurring.
