Feels like an impact injury probably caused by falling off Crescent Arete (29th January). I felt initial pain in my ankles but after sitting there on the mat for a couple of minutes it subsided to nothing and I thought no more of it. I ran 3 x 5 miles the week after with no problems, then it started to feel sore on day 9 after the fall. It is fine during low impact activities like yoga, climbing and swimming, but running and jumping around is sore. Tried having a week off running but it still feels the same so am going to see a sports therapist.
Pretty much a whole month off running seems to have done the trick. Still not sure what it was.
