Fell while riding down a mountain in Odyssey One Day and bruised my hip. Was able to finish the race with no pain. Bruise swelled up a little after the race.

Didn't excercise much during the next two weeks. Did not commute to work at all. Heated just before Lionheart and did a short ride. Basically got in as much rest as possible.

Start heating sooner. Give it 48 hours and then heat. Try and get in some light low impact workouts before using it for the first time in a race.
