Pain in left foot, on the ball around the third toe. Feels as if I am stepping on a nerve nearly every step.
Update 2016: "Diagnosed" Morton's Syndrome. Apparently, it's a thing. And common. Prescribed new orthotics to try to help.
Update Feb 2017: still an issue.

So, five years later (2/2016), I went to the podiatrist about this. I'm getting new orthodics, with additional support under the big toe on my left foot. We'll see!
