HVO Pit Orienteering World Record: Green

1.		I went basically straight; it would have been faster (for me) to have run the roads.
2.	Did not follow plan	Followed some footprints in the deep snow that took me in a different direction than my original plan (to go north directly to the trail). Lost time by staying in the woods.
3.		Rather than chancing crossing the swamp, I went SW on trail almost to second trail jct then attacked from SE near second trail/stream jct.

5.	No attack point Not thinking clearly Disturbed by others	Was passed by Tatiana, and did not use definite attack point (the swamp!) to best effect. Confused hilltops.
6.		When I marked the "middle pit" I made the mistake of circling it too with the red pen; then thought it was on a hill. Doh!
