SLOW Night-O Series 2012-13.3, Richmond Park: Long Course


1. Ran down the hill with no AP. Should have followed the track to the building and ducked west.
2. Fastest on this leg. Not led in - just saw it from some distance and sprinted in. Upped my position from 11th to 7th.
4. Slow here. Searching a) too early and then b) too low.
6. Good to #6. Should have followed my bearing rather than being pulled too far north by other runners and stuck with my instinct that we'd stopped a path too soon.
7. Happy with the direct route; hadn't seen the path alternative.
8. Fast cross country following Jon X.
9. Nailed the bearing absolutely straight. Signed in by others leaving.
10. Again stopped a little too early.
11. Tried to follow a bearing north, but ended up going up and south round the fence. Pulled by the shapes on the horizon.
12. +03:00Nightmare. Lost 3:00 wandering around not far enough into the woodland.
F. Sprinted in to the finish.
