Since it seemed to take a long time to get there, thought I might've drifted right, so went straight S only to find myself on the wrong side of the drainage with the ruined fence. Recognized that quickly, though, and went straight to control | |||||

Frustrated +00:40 | Contoured to seasonal stream. Hill ahead looked to big, so I hesitated. Once over top of ridge, expected to see bag, but didn't. Stood still not knowing which way to go. Went a little right, then left, then puzzled cause bag was way down reentrant (but it didn't occur to me then that bag was misplaced). | |||||

Could not relocate Frustrated +02:30 | Not realizing I was leaving from a spot much lower on the hill then mapped, I didn't have the flexibility to adjust. Purposely stayed high (because it would be easier to see depression from above), but never looked to right (I was probably within 30m of the bag) because I was sure it had to be to my left. And for same reason, went downhill a long way before turning back up. | |||||
