1. 78m 27 1 -1 -4% 102.5 5 5:46   78m 27 1 -1 -4% 5:46 was good - started fast but lost couple seconds in the circle actually finding the control.
2. 186m 49 1 0% 102.0 5 4:23   264m 1:16 1 -1 -1% 4:47 hesitated at the end of the leg trying to work out how to get into the underpass - was running straight at the control instead of straight at teh underpass entrance
3. 56m 52 1 -5 -9% 108.3 20 15:28   320m 2:08 1 -20 -14% 6:40 wrong route choice - went south and should have gone north - i really dontt like going back the way i had come.
4. 109m 45 1 -13 -22% 120.7 6:52   429m 2:53 1 -34 -16% 6:43 difficult route choice at the end - still not sure if north was faster than south into the control - i went north.
5. 176m 59 1 -1 -2% 102.8 5:35   605m 3:52 1 -38 -14% 6:23 again difficult route choice and i am not sure which was faster - ideally i would have gone back and checked but family responsibilities prevailed.
6. 98m 1:40 17 +41 69% 64.3 45 35 17:00   703m 5:32 1 -8 -2% 7:52 not sure of mu route choice - but i lost 45 seconds (according to my GPS track) once i got into the circle. I was looking for a cliff, but shoul have been looking for a fence. so i overran into the clearing - saw a control checked it, and only then relocated back to the correct control.
7. 195m 1:21 5 +20 33% 87.7 20 6:55   898m 6:53 2 +9 2% 7:39 bad route choice here- i thought hte middle path joing the main one, and only once i had committed to going north did i see that they didn't join so i had to go to the northernmost path past control 9.
8. 167m 1:31 5 +13 17% 90.8 9:04   1065m 8:24 3 +22 5% 7:53 was starting to tire here and was a tough uphill - i went back past 9 again, i wonder if keeping above the control was quicker - i lost a lot of height that needed to be regained up to the highest control of the course. cannot really claim slow running as lost time.
9. 140m 42 1 -2 -5% 105.6 5:00   1205m 9:06 2 +20 4% 7:33 down hill dash
10. 153m 53 1 -6 -10% 109.4 5:46   1358m 9:59 2 +14 2% 7:21 more down hill dash had some traffic at the control so never really considered the back the way i had come route choice for the next leg very long.
11. 148m 1:38 3 +14 17% 94.6 20 11:02   1506m 11:37 1 -5 -1% 7:42 wrong route choice - once i got to the avairy i realised i was on the long option. some people crossed on the boulders which would have been 30 seconds faster.
12. 204m 1:38 5 +8 9% 94.9 8:00   1710m 13:15 2 +3 0% 7:44 some interesting route options right at the end of the leg - no idea which was fastest, i stayed south of the buildings so i didnt have to fiddle thought eh middle of them.
13. 160m 52 2 +3 6% 98.1 5:25   1870m 14:07 2 +6 1% 7:32 fast running through the forrested field
14. 317m 1:41 1 -3 -3% 102.0 6 5:18   2187m 15:48 2 +2 0% 7:13 lost my cap on a tree back through the field (small dogleg route choice. and that cost me the race. I should have left it.
15. 93m 42 3 +3 8% 96.8 2 7:31   2280m 16:30 2 +2 0% 7:14 hesitated with the complex map section comming up the small wall -
16. 134m 36 2 +3 9% 100.0 4:28   2414m 17:06 2 +5 0% 7:05 tiered now - cannot really claim being slow as lost time - but i lost 3 secs to mike
17. 88m 17 2 +2 13% 96.1 2 3:13   2502m 17:23 2 +7 1% 6:56 didn't sprint too hard in to protect my calf that is still recovering from the calf strain early last week. all in all happy with the run.
