British Long Champs, Mulgrave Woods.
M60L 6.5km 300m.
Started with little expectation of finishing. Calf was fine for around 15 mins but twinged coming down the hill into #5. Decided to try and carry on. Sure enough it eased on the walk up the hill to #6. Then wasn't too bad at a cruisey pace on the forest roads. No worse by the finish so I might as well have another go tomorrow.
Somehow finished 4th, only 3.5 mins down on Clive.

https://www.boc.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/#56&cour...Very disappointed with the area. All the best bits from 8 years ago had been felled and were a watery brambly hell hole. The hills were still there and were obviously covered in slippery mud. No wonder Steve Cram declined to compete on M60.
