Training Log: Soupbone

My 10 min time loss at no7 was the game killer.
I went to low and was in the out of bounds area I believe. It was so thick I had a hard time getting out of there til I saw the earth bank.

Well not how I imagine it would turn out. But at the start triangle I was confused with all the trails. Started down the wrong trail and worked my way back to the start. There was Walter who started 2 min behind me.
So I found the right trail and he went direct. After that we both took the wrong trail, because I was off in my thinking as I should of gone over one more trail, but as the start triangle covering the junctions the circle blocked the trail I didn’t read it well. I had some good controls after that and, I was in the 4:38 club with three others for the 5th control fastest time.
No 7 I was off to the right to much and had to recover.
At the penultimate control I fell right before it and Clinton said that wasn’t the first to fall there, who was taking pictures.
5th or 6th in M-70
6 min out of 1st on a more technical map tomorrow at Letchworth state park
