Fairly steady for the first half of the first lap, staying relaxed down the long downhill midway round. Then ended up taking the lead by accident more than design as the front two both dropped off in short succession. Never pulled away from the other two in the pack though, could hear them behind me throughout the next lap. Figured an uphill final chase wouldn't suit me so put my foot down on the last long descent to try to get a gap. Failed to snap the elastic though as one of them stayed with me and then took me on the climb. Bit peeved, felt like a winnable race - need better strategy and/or stronger legs!
3mins faster than 2018 (I think they've changed the route slightly?)
