Great little sprint on open hillside with lots of features. Good practice at running under pressure as I was being chased by the farmer (Jethro) which resulted in a few little errors. (Jethro 14.42 mostly by being more accurate)

Didn’t expect to be in Edinburgh but just turned up with no kit in the hope of getting some sort of run. Trainers and shorts and tee shirt, no SI, compass or magnifier.
Got lucky borrowed a compass (baseplate) and SI, the map was 1:5000 and conditions were dry (although still went down heavily several times).
A few errors early on until I got used to the baseplate.
Very enjoyable, thanks ESOC.
