Blue course: Usually go well on hilly open areas but had a really poor run.
22nd on Blue course and 5th M60.
The 1st leg was a great long route choice right out of the start where I certainly didn’t get the best route but didn’t loose a huge amount. Control 2 was on a re-entrant that didn’t really exist and the kite was on the ground, approaching from above I couldn’t see it and had to relocate loosing 6 1/2 mins before coming back to the same place and spotting the SI box. Lost concentration and ran straight past 3 as the control site didn’t look quite right loosing another 3 mins. Didn’t push after this and was just ticking off the controls carefully until I came to the crag at 6 and no control, tried lower down and round behind some gorse then eventually found the kite on a small unmapped crag just above the big one. Another 5 mins lost here (might as well have all the mistakes in one day).
Not my finest hour.

Ran back up the hill and over Allermuir, Caerketton and Hillend back down to the A702. Great views but legs a bit tired.
