Missed morning session as staying w family in Bristol, but definitely good idea anyway as was tired today.
Running on my own for all of these, first two courses pretty good generally got the quickest routes and was pushing but felt kinda slow after yesterday. On the 3rd loop cut the first few controls as brain was lagging and another big interval wouldn’t be the best. Shins were a bit sore by the end but a lot of running in flats on tarmac for the weekend it’s not really suprising. Just need to focus on keeping the brain focussed when physically tired towards end of race

Bath uni morning training
4x mass start loops
Got into it after the first one, didn’t see an uncrossable wall so got a bit caught out and was quite fast so was behind on first one. 2,3 loops really good, planning ahead well and not getting ahead of myself, I think taking quite good routes and we were all going different which made it quite fun. 4th loop on multi levels my brain was not working but it’s so hard to read and sprint and spped when you haven’t geeked that type of area

Afternoon sprints at Bristol halls
20s interval, 10s interval, 10s interval but starting in pairs.
Got a lot better throughout this, defo was running at max as the mass start vibe leant it to that, but still felt that was making good plans and choosing good routes so felt controlled. Barriers were so hard to see on the map and tan through one on second loop that crossed control circle, as didn’t see it at all but I guess wouldn’t get that in a race
